Only 50 Km from Nairobi, it is described by many as the best day trip from Kenya’s capital, this little known yet massive double cratered volcano is located very close to it’s well known sister, Mt. Longonot.
Mt. Suswa is one of the most spectacular mountains of the Rift Valley as it comprises a 12 km across double crater system, a vast network of obsidian caves and a variety of wild animals and plants.

You are met at JKIA airport / your hotel in Nairobi briefed thereafter. Pick up by 7.30am
07:30am Depart for Mt Suswa, expected to arrive at 08:30am, start Hiking, Bird watching & site seeing.01:00 pm We take our picnic Lunch at one of the caves en route to the summit/ Mt Suswa camp, relax at the peak as we photograph and start descending as we enjoy game watching
04:00 pm Leave for Nairobi expected to arrive at Nairobi at 5:30 pm
